Mental Health Research Network's National Scientific Conference 2009 Wednesday 20th May 2009

Mental Health Research Network

The MHRN provides the NHS infrastructure to support commercial and non-commercial large scale research in mental health, including clinical trials and is managed by a partnership between the Institute of Psychiatry, King’s College London and the University of Manchester.

The network’s 2009 conference was held at the East Midlands Conference Centre (EMCC) over three days – 20th to 22nd May, 2009.

The Convention Bureau built the MHRN a bespoke online delegate registration system, which proved an invaluable asset to the conference organiser. The system enabled the organiser to download Microsoft Excel reports. These told the the MHRN exactly which delegates had registered for any aspect of the event.

The Convention Bureau also sourced and printed 323 double sided delegate badges.

At a debrief today (3rd June 2009) between the conference organiser and the Convention Bureau’s Andy Melton, praise and thanks were passed on for all the hard work involved in making the event successful.
